218.Wishes for more deer

Various photos from various times

In the Year 2525-Visage

Today on my bus journey to school I saw three deer walking through a snow covered field,it was really magical. Wish I'd had time to take photos.

217.Wishes for warmth

Mums velvet cardigan,vintage shoes,belt,shorts and shirt,random watches

So here's some photos of me in the snow in the garden, just because.Yes it snowed, yes it is only November and yes it is very exciting. If you've followed me for a long long time, then you may remember last years post in the snow, and how snow turns me into a 5 year old.....

After the photo taking,I put on a gazillion extra layers and ventured out to the city centre. It was quite a long walk, with the snow slowing me down, but I enjoyed it.Everything looked so wonderful.Unfortunatley,I didn't take my camera on my walk,as I was too busy doing random errands like buying ribbon, delibrating for too long over what wrapping paper I like, trying to find a shop that sells chapstick, and musing around in hobbycraft.

Even though I feel pretty exhausted a lot of the time;I'm really appreciating everything about this time of year. The dark nights walking from the bus,the snow, the pinks and blues in the sky reflecting on the river (I do a lot of looking out the window on my bus journey to school, because I don't really talk to anyone much),drinking hot drinks constantly, and feeling hyped about christmas/turning 16.Hope you are all enjoying the snow too,if it's not snowing were you live than I feel sorry for you.Unless you are one of those grumpy people who hates snow...

216.Wishes to be a cosmic dancer

So the other evening I was watching University Challenge (it's a quiz show for university students(genuis'!) to battle in teams), and in the music round this random tune started playing. And I was sat there saying "I know that, that's in Billy Elliot", however I couldn't remember the name of it. So later, I did a little research and now I am in love with the whole Billy Elliot soundtrack. Particularly anything by T-Rex. If you've never seen this movie, it's important you do....

How cool are the people dancing in the crowds? I want to be them.

215.Wishes to see this again

Okay, so I debated whether to do a HP post seen as it's everywhere. But I guess I couldn't resist.
I saw Deathly Hallows last night and it was pretty amazing. It was great to see that parts from the book hadn't been missed out.I really liked how all the tension between Harry,Hermoine and Ron played out,and it was how I expected it to be. I got really into it,and there's this one point were Nagina (Voldemorts snake) jumps out...in which I yelped rather loudly, much to the amusement of my friends.
I don't know what else to really say actually, other than its awesome and go watch it! I really want to see it again....

213.Wishes we were not on the eve of destruction

Eve of Destruction-Barry McGuire

Sometimes I feel like the lyrics of this song.Even though it's from the 1960's,society still feels like it's going downhill.I don't like the way of life, and the teachings in this century.I kind of dislike humanity in a way....it's a little depressing.

212.Wishes for cannabis cakes

Seen as I don't really have much to say today,I'd thought I'd give you another smiths obsessed post.Enjoy the video,it always amuses me.

Also I just had tea with my family, and we were discussing how my dad used to live in Soho in London. He used to live in a squat and earn his money on market stalls, which he'd then spend in tiny vegetarian restaraunts.Vegetarian food was big with the hippie movement. My parents past always facinates me...you can probabaly also guess that my parents are quite a bit older than most of my peers parents. It's a little cringy...
Hum,and I just said I didn't have much to say,and then suddenly wrote tons.

211.Wishes for smudges

Topshop dress,mums velvet cardigan,vintage shoes,random bracelets

Apologies for my nochalant expressions,I find it very difficult to pose in front of a camera.
Not got much to say other than my eye make up seems to be getting more dramatic every weekend.Today's is a combination of black, green and gold eyeshadow plus black liquid eyeliner. That's a lot for me. Also I am wearing a headscarf with a paisley pattern on it,though you can barely see it in the photos. It's rather cool and I it nicked from my dad.

210.Wishes for WORN

Styling!nomnomnom.

Someone teach me how to do eye make up like this, please.

This really reminds me of a more fashion concious Ewan Mcgregor in trainspotting.Anyone else get what I mean?
All my own scans from issue 23 of Pop

So in the half term I splashed out on an issue of Pop.Despite the £6.00(!!!) price tag,I was attracted by its thickness and the fact it came with these really cool manga style flower stickers(now stuck to my stationery, and looking amazing).Yeah,I really wanted the stickers.

The magazine was full of great editorials, some of my favourite images are above.I was suprisingly decisive with my choices for scanning this time, but I could have been far more liberal.A lot of really great stuff in this magazine.I think I would have liked a bit more text-more articles to keep me busy would have been nice. I also still find the few fashion magazines I have had chance to purchase rather intimidating.I guess I would like a friendlier approach, and maybe more things that feel relevant to me to read.

A subscription to WORN is on my christmas list, and hopefully this will satisfy these cravings for an easy going magazine. And now I feel like some David Bowie...
